Kuala Lumpur International Book Fair 2011

Kuala Lumpur International Book Fair 2011 at PWTC, was like a fun fair for book lovers, at least for me, it was. Thousands of books were piled in PWTC, it was a nice view for me. This fair lasted for more than a week from 22 April 2011 until 1 May 2011.

Fictions, non-fictions, textbooks, storybooks, novels, you name it, the fair got everything that you need (was it? I can't find computing books that I need for my research although there were plenty of other computing books. Nevertheless, I did found other interesting books that compensate the missing computing books )

This event is held every year, so for those who missed this year's KLIBF you still have the chance in the next year.

One of the entrances, the fair was held in multiple hall inside the PWTC.

2 poetesses

A german poet who recited his poetry both in German and Bahasa Melayu, made me proud of Bahasa Melayu. Why my blog is in English? because right now English is a universal language and my blog contents are mostly about Malaysia, so if I wrote in Bahasa Melayu then I can't spread the information to the non-Bahasa Melayu speaker and only Malaysian who already knew about Malaysia will get what I wrote.

contemporary poetess

Sasterawan Negara, Profesor Emeritus Dr. Muhammad Haji Salleh

While being at the book fair I had managed to watch book launching ceremony. It was a poetry book entitled Tautan or Verknüpfungen in German. The book is in dual language which  is in both Bahasa Malaysia and German language. It was interesting to watch both Malaysians and Germans recited poetry in each others languages.
